1. Introduction
Welcome to Rising Bowl. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing, browsing, or using our Platform to order food, subscribe to MealBox plans, or use our Wallet features, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our Platform.
2. Account Registration
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders on Rising Bowl.
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including a valid phone number and delivery address.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTPs and login credentials. Rising Bowl is not liable for unauthorized access to your account.
3. Orders & Payments
Order Acceptance: All orders placed are subject to acceptance by Rising Bowl. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, out-of-delivery-zone issues, or technical errors.
Pricing & Taxes: All prices listed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes and delivery charges unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Payment Methods: We accept online payments (Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Wallets) and Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible zones. COD limits may apply based on your location.
4. Delivery & Shipping
- Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
- You must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the provided address. If our rider cannot reach you after multiple attempts, the order will be canceled without a refund.
- Delivery charges are calculated dynamically based on the distance from our kitchen to your location.
5. MealBox Subscriptions
Rising Bowl offers prepaid daily tiffin services ("MealBox"). By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Advance Payment: MealBox plans require full advance payment.
- Pause Policy: You may pause your subscription through the app before the daily cutoff time. Paused days will automatically extend your plan's validity.
- Non-Refundable: MealBox subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activated, except under special circumstances evaluated by our support team.
6. Wallet & Reward Coins
Our Platform features a digital Wallet and a Loyalty Coin system. Reward coins are promotional and hold no real-world cash value. They cannot be transferred to a bank account or to another user.
Rising Bowl reserves the right to expire, modify, or revoke reward coins in case of suspected fraud, account inactivity, or abuse of the referral system.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations by You: You can cancel your order within 60 seconds of placing it. Once the restaurant accepts the order and begins preparation, cancellations are not permitted.
Cancellations by Us: We reserve the right to cancel orders due to unavoidable reasons. In such cases, online payments will be refunded automatically to the original source.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds may take 5-7 business days to reflect in your bank account.
8. Prohibited Conduct
While using Rising Bowl, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Submit fake reviews, false ratings, or abuse the feedback system.
- Attempt to hack, bypass security, or exploit the Wallet/Promo code systems.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our delivery riders or customer support staff.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate permanent account suspension.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kota, Rajasthan.
